Help to build a dp file for the FINKII Supen

    Hi,
I am asking if someone can create a dp file for the FINKII Subpen I created using GMAX.
    Many thanks.

    Hey Robert,

If you can wait a couple days I could do it this weekend. Might help me get back into CFS2.

Just let me know what you want it to do.

    Weapons...

So for the Dp I'm assuming that the large guns are 12.8 cm Flak 40's. not sure of the smaller. I'll probably go with 20mm's. I'll research some more.

    here is the ARMS.dat entry:

    12.8cm Flak 40,0,-999,1,0.333,880,2,0.05,5000,6,20,1d1*500,0,0,0,0,0 ,0,-180,180,88,-3,912,Germany

    Does that look about right?

    12.8 cm (128mm) Flak 40
    RoF: 20 rpm
    Velocity: 880 m/s
    elevation: +88, -3
Range: 10,000m (engagement range of 5,000m for the AI)
    Round weight: 57lbs (912 oz)

    ARMS.dat

ok some changes to the ARMS.dat

I had the RoF set to high. It should be like this:

    12.8cm (128mm) Flak 40,0,-999,1,3.0,880,2,0.05,5000,6,20,1d1*500,0,0,0,0,0,0,-180,180,88,-3,912,Germany

the 0.333 was closer to 180 rpm. thats not 20 rpm. Ooops...

For the next one I'm going with the 37mm. It looks about right.

    3.7cm (37mm) Flak 37,0,-999,1,0.4,845,2,0.05,2500,5,30,1d1*50,0,0,0,0,0,0,-180,180,90,-7,52,Germany

    3.7 cm (37mm) Flak 37
    RoF: 150 rpm (effective)
    Velocity: 845 m/s
    elevation: +90, -7
Range: 11,000m (engagement range of 2,500m for the AI)
    Round weight: 3.25lbs (52 oz)

    So that should be better.

    DP Finished...

    another change to that ARMS.dat

    3.7cm (37mm) Flak 37,1,54,2,0.4,845,2,0.05,2500,5,30,1d1*50,0,0,0,0, 0,0,-180,180,90,-7,52,Germany

    12.8cm (128mm) Flak 40,4,52,2,3,880,2,0.05,5000,6,20,1d1*500,0,0,0,0,0 ,0,-180,180,88,-3,912,Germany

minor changes. You can add them trough note pad for your DPed. Watch it that 37mm is a killer.
