    DP Question

    Good Afternoon!

    I was playing with the MVG Italian Wings CR-42, and found a problem with the fighter-bomber Version:
    When I load the bombs, they appear on the visual model, but they do not appear in the bombs count in the HUD mode. I can select and drop them, then they disappear from the visual, but there´s no explosion on the ground, as they are apparently not there.

    Skylane, the second payload summary is missing. Don't know why its necessary, but the end of the DP should look like this:

    "system_name.31"=Starboard Elevator
    "payload_name.0"=Guns Only
    "payload_name.1"=50kg Bombs

    Your bombs gun station is numbered 1 - gunstation.1

    Your bomb stations description [Guns.2] is numbered 2. It is looking for a gun station number 2 -- which you don't have. Change it to [Guns.1]


    Although it is out of sequence, the payload names are in the .dp file.

    payload.1=50kg Bombs
    payload.2=100kg Bombs
    So I bet the names do show up in the HUD once the gunstation and the bomb description match numbers. Regardless, they do belong at the end of the [STRINGS] section like Bearcat says.

    I'm pretty sure you nailed it Cap. Any sequence error in the DP can be critical.

    I corrected the sequence and added the information at the end.
    Now everything works as it should! I have my bombs!
