Oops, I took off with "fair weather" on. But I have now selected real wx. Duenna isn't complaining yet.

Wow! I overstressed the Kitty! I started my descent, then went across the room to turn off the "local lights", so I could see better on approach. I figured 10 or fifteen seconds wouldn't be a big deal. WRONG! When I sat back in my seat I was well over 450 MPH indicated, and could not pull out. Power back to idle, max back pressure, to no avail. I entered into that deadly compressibility region I guess. That was awesome! Baton back at UUEM.

Miss Kitty may be easy to land, or at least have good visibility, but you canna get too complacent, or the claws will come out and you will find your face sliced right off!

Icon22 Baton safe down and free ...

@ UWGG (!) nice wx, cold and clear mostly, great winds onto the tail at altitude - guess I got more than 70 knots and this 'tractor' only goes up to FL250 without "breathing" too heavily

[EDIT]hmmm... really weird what Duenna has done with the log file - this must have been a major 'hiccup' of the program - I haven't flown the B-29 or one of the B-50's since yesterday even. The sim just got restarted prior to doing the leg and the P-47's aircraft.cfg is correct and lists it as type 'atc_model = P47' - the empty weight is really even more off ! Guess that Duenna "tractor" had got too much alcohol lately!
