    R.I.P. Akemi

    Hello, friend simmers.

It's been a quite while since I last visited the forum.

Today I have to announce that Akemi Mizoguchi (AKA Hago-chu) had passed away on Oct. 14th.

The annoucement had posted at his web site, under the name of his daughter, on Dec. 29th.

I visited his webpage just today to post a happy-new-year message but instead I found....

According to his daugher, he had been sick and hispitalized.

Here is the link to the top page of his website.
If you can have a web translater you'll see the post of his daughter.
    http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/hago/index.htm

May his soul and spirit rest in peace.

    Daisuke

    PS.
This is the first time for me to anounce someone's passing in English language.
If there is any inappropriate expression, sorry in advance.

I liked his detailed aircraft, his work will always stay with CFS2, and I think all who are still interested in this Senior Sim will miss him a lot. I did not know him personally, but his work gave and still gives me Input for my own CFS2 aircrafts.
A great CFS2 aircraft designer has gone.

Rest in peace Akemi! We will miss you!

    Dear Daisuke,

Thanks for informing us. Its very sad to learn that Akemi Mizoguchi has passed. His models has been and still are a huge contribution to our hobby.
He will be missed, but long remembered for his talents and his kindness to share these talents with us.

Akemi visited the Sim-outhouse under the name Hago-Chu frequently, however was a rare poster.

Very sad to hear this! I flew many of his aircraft in Cfs2, Fs8 and 9.

The Bing translator gave poor results but it sounded like his site will close after 6 months? If that is the case then we should ask if his site and downloads can be saved?

Yes, the translator is very correct for that part.

It seems that there is no one amongst his family who will maintain his site.

It may be considered impolite asking to do a favour (especially about a fun) right
after grief moment, but I'm thinking to ask his family if I can save his site, possibly
migrate to another server that will be maintained in a long run.

So I first have to have a formal contact with his family by mail (not e-mail), and
tell them that we are very sorry to hear his passing, then explain we relly hope
    his masterpieces to be timeless.

Very sad to hear. He generously gave to the CFS2 world some excellent aircraft and helped extend the life of this aging sim.

A sad loss for sure...and at a young age too. He'll be sorely missed by family and fans. He gave us an added dimension in his designs, particularly in Japanese aircraft. Here's to you my friend...RIP

    Hey guys,

This is the language in the readme for his aircraft: "Although it is free software, processing re-distribution and aimed at obtaining profit is not accepted."

Thank you Disuke for informing us of this sad news.

I will remember him as an artist and also as a very generous person. He had brought joy to many sim enthusiasts and asked nothing in return.

    Fly on Akemi.
