Description: This file contains two sets with alternative textures for the Payware Classics hangar FW190 A8 Which can be found in the FW190 late vatariants package or the CD-edition release via Flight1 . The model can be found here: http://www.classics-hangar.de/
This repaint depicts the FW190 A8, blue 9 flown by Staffelkapitän Oblt.Karl-Heinz Koch. Karl-Heinz Koch was a five victory ace. 'Blue 9 + o' was destroyed in a crash landing at Herdla on 5 April 1945 after an oil leak. Koch's aircraft had a white rudder with his victories over Soviet (four) and British (one) aircraft marked on it. It also had the JG5 crest on the forward fuselage.
This repaint contains the historical correct tail marking. For those who want to fly this model without the historical tailmarking an alternative texture is included.
I want to thank Mathias Pommerien from Classics hangar for creating this beautiful model and Jens-Ole Kjolberg for the inspiration. The excellent paintkit from Alessandro "alx" Biaggi was used as the start for this repaint.
