A side note to Iwakuni. It also had two other australian squadrons stationed there. Also in the begining of the Korean war there were US B-26's.

If you want more pics look here:

I think I added the planes. They are for the mission that I made. I also did the skin on the mustangs.

After adding some structures. Will this work for you? I tried to keep it close to the layout in the photos above.

    Back to ground work...

So I'm looking at my WWI Scenery again.

I want to redo the airfields. I've been playing with it and I'm still stuck. I want to add the roads in such away that they look natural and not overlap like they do now.

Anyone interested in giving it a try.

I am woundering if the pixel size is an issue. maybe thats why I can't get the detail that I want.

probably dirt or muddy roads. they are more or less truck and wagon tracks in some cases.

Then I recomend using a dark to medium brown texture (browse to your cfs2 texture folder to find one) and use the taxiway function in FSSC as I did above. Or if you want them uneven or irregular, as opposed to straight lines, just mask them in using the 100% settings for the density and thickness and 75% for hardness and using the same texture you selected. Make them as wide or as thin as you want. Notice the roads in this screenshot below - I made them.
