Looking for a Native FsX aircraft? Start here!

The FsX aircraft lists are back!

    FsX freeware aircraft: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...tOTVmR2c#gid=0

    FsX Payware aircraft: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...Sa1B6YUE#gid=0

FsX aircraft 'Work in progress' list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...3UEszQnc#gid=0

These lists are probably not complete, so if you are missing anything, please post! :d

As far as I know, all aircraft are native FsX models but of course I don't own everything on the list so once again, additions are welcome and also please tell me if I made a mistake!

Disclaimer: Even though some developers do not use the manufacturers' name because of possible legal issues, I have added a name in the lists just to make it easier to find certain aircraft.

I think it is listed under Just Flight, but I will give the company its own entry when I get home.

Edit: Both the official homepage and publisher are Just Flight, so I'll leave it like it is.

The easiest way to find anything would be to open any three of the spreadsheets in the first post, press 'control + F' to open the search box, and type the name of manufacturer or model you are looking for.
In your case, both Sim Skunk Works and Razbam have an AV-8B Harrier listed.

I know and smelled something RCAF and heard of a port. Yes I know this is FSX native. But this is a rare AC to find in FS. The famous CL44/CC106 Yukon. Has anyone here got knowledge of this hidden little Canadian treasure be it Fs9 or a port to FSX please.

Yes, it is Garry Russell's unfinished (but in my view pretty stellar) CL-44 / CC-106. Both variants are moddled, incl a swing-tail CL-44, there is no VC but a superb 2D with a very realistic start sequence.

Available through special access at the CBFSim forum. It's not native per se, but he has a separately-compiled installer for FSX.

A pity the project appears stalled due to some personal issues with Garry - it would have been a delight if it would have unfolded to include, as I believe was his intention, the Britannia. BOAC, Cubana, CP, and a whole host of other great repaint opportunities. Alas, what we have, it what we have - and since my post in Jun 2012 on that thread in their forum is the last so far - all I suspect we'll get. I hope I'm wrong on that, though....

    Cheers,

One suggestion to the document. Can you please add the filter option to it? this way we can filter the list down to manufacturer, etc.

    Done! (I think..)

Of course you can always search by using Control+F and type the name of a specific manufacturer or model.

Great! I'll get cracking on my Soviet Submarine Aircraft Carrier again. Though I had never seen photos untill recently, the Yak-38 also wore a number of grey and cammo schemes during its service, and deployed to the 'Stan during the 'Rhomb' trials, where its hot and high performance was so dismal they resorted to flying at night!
    Crosses fingers!

    Flying bathtub glider at Avsim.

Category: Flight Simulator X - Original Aircraft
    New! NASA M2-F1 ZipDive! Download

    File Description:
Here's a different sort of glider for you to try out! The NASA M2-F1 was a lightweight, unpowered prototype aircraft, developed to flight test the wingless lifting body concept. The "M" refers to "manned" and "F" refers to "flight". In 1962, NASA Dryden management approved a program to build a lightweight, unpowered lifting body prototype. It featured a plywood shell placed over a tubular steel frame crafted at Dryden. For more background info check Wikipedia!

This totally made my day ... until I loaded it and couldn't get it run. Noticed it had a panel.cfg missing - added one from another aircraft - so I could at least get the model to show in the menu - which it did ... but I couldn't see the plane in the previewer/hangar viewer ...

... and when I loaded the plane in the sim, it didn't show, either VC or spot view.

Re-ran the DX10 fixer, on FSX + Accell, to make sure.

Anyone else have issues with this?

Can't have too many lifting bodies ....
