    Something new in NZ

    Attachment 13935

    RNZAF's first Beechcraft (Raytheon) T6 'Texan II'; Fs9 model is by IRIS;
    textures are a set for FSX by Adrian Brausch , courtesy of nzfsim (here, download link is below the pictures ----> http://nzff.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=21772) which I've converted to fs9 format with a little work in dxtbmp and paint. (resize to 1024 x 1024 maximum, 'flip' image and alpha in dxtbmp, then 'save as' your favourite fs9 texture format)

    Might play about with the alpha a little for less shine, and I've noticed the wings when seen from vc have to be adjusted (they're on another texture )

    It was enough to make me break radio silence but... I didn't know IRIS did a "T6 Texan" model for FS9. I know they did a PC-9, I've got that one. I also know that IRIS did a T6 Texan for FSX. Correct me if I'm wrong here, and if there is an IRIS T6 available for FS9, please provide a link. I like that paint scheme on the plane. Nice shot BTW...

    They did. Was only available (payware) for a short while as both an fsx and fs9 compatible item,with dual installer,
    and there was a free beta demo too. @ 2010 ------> http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...II-still-exist
    However, I'll do a little experiment I think the pc9 textures are identical..as I have that one too...

    The same thing happened with the IRIS PC-9 for FS9, it was available for a short while as payware but then the rug got yanked out from under that model, and the FSX version appeared. Not really sure why IRIS pulled the FS9 version of the PC-9, maybe they weren't getting positive sales numbers for that version.

    At any rate, it's a nice screenshot, Pete.

    Mr. Mehlin released beta version of his great SU-22 on this site, and you can find much more great FS stuff from former DDR there too:

    Flusirainer, shame on me - months ago I batted around the forums and tripped over this site, but in those days I hadn't that much interest at this aircraft. Thanks a lot for hint mate and kikas also!
