    Flight Replica's Messerschmitt Bf109 G-4

Nice shots Huub. The Bf-109G4 had a very blunt "all business" look to it, vs. the Spitfire IX, for example. which IMO had a smooth and refined look. The later versions of the Bf-109s had that boxy framed canopy, which seemed to fit in with the rest of the plane's airframe shape, despite the rounded wings, streamlined nose and prop spinner and removal of the tail struts. It's basic message was curt and to the point... "warplane"! As the Spitfire seemed to be just at home dancing amongst the clouds as it was strafing trains or decimating German fighters and bombers.

    Who didn't fly them..................

    Paul Rebuffat's beautiful Spitfires!

I spent many hours in his Mk.XIV, as well as that clip wing variant you posted, back in my CFS2 days. I used to go 2 or 3 Zero's against my Spitfire in a Free Flight combat session and down them, one by one. The clip wing version was highly maneuverable and wicked fast in that game and just 1 or 2 pops from the 20MM Hispano cannons would take down an enemy plane in nothing flat. Paul's Mk.XIV-E was my all time favorite Spitfire.

    fs9 Cavalier

For those willing to travel fast, I started retexturing the Cavalier Mustang A.F. Scrub recently released.

    Early WIP shot

If someone has "metal" texturing skills and want to help/improve = welcome

Ah, I-BIMU! That's really great news Manuele! I always hoped you would do this model! .

The hunchback I-ROTR is one of my absolute favourite models, but the sleek civil model is perhaps even better.

    Hi Joel,
For the present I archived the "Stuka Project" (also due to the Milviz "Dora" for FSX....) and decided to "restart" an older one (in my drawer since 2008 !!!).
The original Italianwings Sparviero (for CFS3, original model by Pietro Zazzetta) was indeed a good base, I changed a lot of things during conversion for FS9, but now it is just a little "dated".
The fuselage of "C" (for "Corsa"/Race) was different from the military version, without gondola, fuselage hatches, windows, door and, first of all, without the typical Sparviero's "hump". So the fuselage upper side section, profile and the metallic structure (steel tubes, visible in the VC) were completely different. Also the cockpit was slightly different in the gauges position and in a lot of commands details.....

    Hi,
The thought of the Sparviero coming back to life hump free is fantastic.

This is the LAGO model and I've always thought it a beautiful aircraft.
