The paint was still a little tacky, so I took it up for a quick blow dry. Mohawk took their last two DC-3s and painted them in this scheme with special service (free beer, cheese, pretzels & 5 cent cigars) and dressed the stewardesses up in 1890s costume. I think it looks quite good on a "Whale".
Darn attachments weren't acting right, so I deleted the post and redid it.
Still acting up... trying again.. (Where's an Admin when you need one?)
Got it about as good as I think I will...

I think I'm going to revisit that '60s Southern Airways. I'm not too happy with it. (Also have a 1950 Southern Airways paint in the pipeline too)

I went looking and I couldn't find that fighter. I assume it is WWII Japanese but what is it?

Looks like a Kawasaki Ki-78.

Indeed, It's the Kawasaki Ki-78, japanese high speed prototype, of regretted Akemi Mizoguchi...
Beautiful 3d model...
I'm working on flight dynamics, VC, and new skins...
I don't know yet if possibly to upload the changes, and for others aircrafts of Akemi...
But this one is truely amazing, when converted for FS9...

A nice Aircraft at Cruise Altitude
How come most of you guys don't bother to put the make and model of the
aircraft you're displaying so very well??
I see so many planes and textures that I'ed love to get me hands on, but
have not a clue what they are to even do a search on them...

Aircraft in my Screenshot above is the VirtualCol Dash 8 Series (100 model) in Canadian North Livery which is included in the Package and Clouds are REX+Overdrive in combination with Activesky
You only have to ask
Most of the planes will be listed in the freeware gems thread at top of forum if they are not payware.... http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...-Freeware-Gems

Alphajet by 'Alphableuciel', you can find it at Simviation, with Luftwaffe repaint from an FSX adaptation of same model at flightsim.com.

Hey Jan Kees --
I have almost all the paints that you did for the WoP/WWII Fighters P-51D, which has prompted me to re -install the WoP P-51D/H pack from A2A... See what you started??
Also, that WP-3D in Aero Union colors is SWEET!

March 29th 1935 on a PAA route finding flight over Burma. Left LaGuardia a while back and made it this far for now.
Uiver Team FS9 DC-2 in Golden Wings with a Pan American paint that I started some months ago and need to take it off the back burner to finish the last details on it so I can get on to a few more paints for it that I got in mind. I quit flying my DC-3s (default & MAAM) when I got the -2.
