    dds. viewer

Say, anyone know where to find a reliable dds./texture viewer for windows 7? I use to have one I used for xp to look at skin and effects textures but can't seem to find one for windows 7.

    HI Animal,

I use gimp for whenever I want to play around with .dds files. It's free and it's fairly straight forward to use

    Take Care,

I use this one and really like it for viewing DDS files for FSX:

    http://www.amnoid.de/ddsview/download.html

It's fast, easy to use and can display the alpha channel either on it's own or superimposed over the diffuse texture.

    Best of all it's free!
