    Willy's Wild Western Roundup

    The Frontier Is Still Alive

Making final preps for a start later tonight after 0000Z.

The Bonanza is ready to go, FSrealWX lite has been working great, Duenna has tested out ok, what could go wrong?

Edited to add: This is a non-prize winning entry

The Kellet was under consideration at one point

It looks like the worst of the storms have passed the house here, so I guess I'll start out on my way. First stop: Orcas Island (KORS)!

Nice early morning flight to Orcas Island. Flew over the Navy who was out steaming in the channel enroute and once I was there and parked, I found AI People!

Anyway, on to the race stuff

Was going for a flight tonight between t-storms and none of the gang was online, so I thought I'd knock out a race leg and flew on down to KHQM. Nice flight although a bit cloudy and hard to see the hilltops at times. The 25kt headwind wasn't helping the gas mileage either.

Going to check the wx radar and if things look good, I might just press on.

The 25kt winds worked in my favor on the flight to Hood River, 4S2. Anyway, nice flight and although there was a little issue with finding the airport, it all worked out good..

    4S2 - KEAT

Had a little time to kill, so I flew on over to KEAT. Nice flight and I got a little ridge hopping practice going into KEAT's valley.

    KEAT - KSFF

Took it on over to Felt Field in Spokane (KSFF). Had a FSrealWX lite issue on take off in that it didn't seem to be putting the correct wx into FS and had to reboot it shortly after take off. Worked great after that and the Duenna didn't pick up on any problems, so I think it's good.

ETA: I wasn't planning on refueling at KSFF, but I taxied too close to the fuel pumps after landing and was brought back up to 100% fuel, so I guess I'm refueled for now.

Made it Bozeman and will take a break for a bit. Nothing like a 25kt crosswind on landing to wake you up.
