Your profiles are masterful... when I saw your photos in Facebook, I thought... how nice.. in England they let you sit on the cockpit... at air shows... lol
but I guess this is only for VIPs...
Actually, at some USAF air shows they let the public sit for pics... I am in Germany now... so I might catch a ride to England before I leave...
btw.. thinking about doing a Hunter profile too.. probably in some exotic foreign livery... I think you are doing great with the profiles... (back at the Palms
Springs Air Museum, there might be some interest -they sell a lot of memorabilia stuff - when I go back I could show an example and get your some prices
    they would pay...

a Hunter you say...... on my Works in Progress i have Hunter T.7 (Very early days in work, lots to add) & Likely T.8M, MiG-21bis, P-51D, F-16, T-6, T-6A Texan II, Tiger moth, new iterations of Meteor (both T.7 and NF.11), Robin 2160 & Cessna 172, completed i have VC-10, my gen1 Meteors, Dragon Rapide, Percival Prentice, Auster AOP.9, Jet Provost and DHC-1 Chipmunk....

I got to sit in the JP as it's display pilot/owner is a friend of mine and he's offered me a flight up in the thing when we can arrange it, then again i've also sat in Flankers, F-4E's, A-7's... just a matter of talking to the crew... i've got a trip to make up to the Scottish Airshow in Sept as part of the charity artwork i'm currently doing in support of a charity who focuses on STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths).... kinda easy to see why FS took a bit of a back seat....

    Great work as ever guys.

Can I offer a few pointers on the Hunter T8M? The shape of the nose looks wrong, and the demarcation line between the Extra Dark Sea Grey and the white undersides should be sharp, not feathered.

Here are a couple of pictures which will, I hope, be of some help.Click image for larger version.

My best on short notice.. lol

This is about the best I can do - save for starting the profile all over again... and I'd rather
spend the time on another project.. lol
Hope it more reasonable meets expectations.. Thanks again for the pointer...

Looking better. Hope you didn't take offence; I could never do work like that, I just don't have the skill or patience, but it would be a shame to have seen it lessened for such an error.

Absolutely no offense taken... I appreciate any pointers to make things better... Sometimes, certain details are a bit "over the top"... what some folks call "rivet counting"... like specific shades of RLM this or that... because oxidation, U.V. radiation, etc. DO operate to change colors (like cars.. parked outside... the factory color is lost after a while
I was in Viet Nam (1969) and NEVER saw TWO aircraft, trucks, APCs, etc. the same shade or hue of O.D....
    Thanks again...

    Just returned from Normandy...

After a wonderful week on the road throughout the D-Day Operation Areas (beaches, museums, etc.)
I am a bit tired from all the driving from Germany... but can honestly say that the experience was superb...
lots of wonderful photographs... and a fantastically elevating experience
It just came to mind that after spending better than 20 years in Europe... I just maybe, maybe...
should have done this trip a long time ago... when I was much younger and stronger... lol
Funny that living here, I put a trip to Normandy for "our next vacation"... and then had to come all the way from Palm Springs, California
to visit memorable areas I never touched before... next trip... Poland... Krakov and the areas where the
Schindler's list movie was filmed as well as Auschwitz... Fortunately my wife is a WW2 buff too.. so she enjoyed it supremely!
If anyone is interested... I will post some of the pics...
