Repainting since FS5..
Thanks, JensOle! I guess I'll be doing some flying up Norway way.
BTW, did we ever get a working link to that bare metal texture?
Did Stovall's airspray paint ever get uploaded anywhere?
Enquiring minds want to know. :mixedsmi:

Life is tough. It's tougher if you're stupid.
If there is interest I have finished the Air Spray F-86F and even one from the Alaska ANG.

....interesting problem ???
Still dealing with the MilViz F86 crashing to the desktop upon my exit to change liveries .... any answers yet as to why ?? still waiting
So now I have downloaded these two smart looking repaints ,the Alaska ANG and Airspray and best I can explain is I click on the Airspray thumbnail and the F86 appears and then proceeds to freeze and remain that traditional gray colour before it should change to the chosen texture ?? and then whamo we proceed to crash to the desk top ...................... help.
Trust me , I'm keen to purchase the upcoming 737 and KingAir but I'm gettin a bit gun shy with this on going concern with the 86.
Anybody ........
Cheers for now
Have you been to our forums?
...you bet , registered member soon after I purchased the 86.
Have inquired about this concern, but at the present time not sure where things are with this issue.
Cheers
Did you download the fix?

As requested, here is the bare metal repaint: http://www.sendspace.com/pro/<wbr>dl/0gi49z
On behalf of Milviz:
might have to change the textures to DXT3.....I do this as a standard with most of the paints.....especially ones I fly alot. I believe STOVALL uses DXT5....I save some FPS on my old system by doing this.
Yes I use DXT5 which is the standard for the Milviz F-86F. Anyone else have a problem with crashes? You might check your aircraft.cfg to be sure you copied correctly. Can't think of why this would cause FSX to freeze and crash. Ideas from anyone would be welcome. No crashes or freezes on this side.
