Thumbs up Major milestone for BoB reached...FINALLY!

    Hey guys,

All 224 missions for the BoB project have been completed, including the completion of the "Kampfgeschwader" project.

    Kurt,

Did you get Skype working yet? I may need you to walk me through this auto-installer business. (Not to worry, there will be a manual install version as well...)

I feel like throwing a parade, especially after the other major bit of good news from today...

Looks like we'll be flying these mission for a longer period than the actual Battle of Britain!

Not only that, but Morton's new MK I Spitfire pack is just in time too.

    Thanks Rami.

Icon22 Battle of Britain - RAF is back up...

    Good morning,

I completed running through and updating all of the files for the RAF side to the Battle of Britain, and so I uploaded it this morning for you, and moved it to the front of the library. The missions have seen extensive updates to GSL scenery and mission structure, but remain hand-edited for the added twist mentioned in the readme files.

The total amount of missions have been increased to 110. The "Battle of Britain" campaign underwent expansion; there are three "skirmish" missions added at the beginning of the campaign, and a "Coventry shoot-em-up" at the end of the campaign, just for fun.

I took advantage of any new stuff in the meantime, such as Morton's Spitfire skins, and I also updated all of the links for the readme files to reflect those in the new library, and even uploaded a few files from the old archive that were needed.

I hope to have the German side uploaded tomorrow or Wednesday. Most of the stuff you will be downloading is exactly identical to what will be used on the German side, so I don't think that there will be a lot of additional work there.

I'm still trying to work out this auto-install business...but in the meantime you should be all right. Have fun up there!!

    Hi Rami,

No, it seems to be beyond my meager windowsXP skill to get it to work. XP keeps shutting it down, no matter that I am selecting the option to exclude Skype from the process. If you want to PM me with your phone #, I can give you a call. I have a flat rate national call plan so it won't cost me me $ to do so. I'd like your advice on a major team project I am working on too.

Congratulations on reaching the end of a long road.
    Cheers,

    Captain Kurt

    Jagd,

Not to throw in a shameless plug or anything, but the campaign against Britain's enemies can be extended even longer with Corpo Aereo Italiano / Chianti Raiders...that pics up on 29 October and goes into the beginning of 1941...about the same time as the "Blitz" missions in the Kampfgeschwader campaign.
