Cool flight over the Bass Strait from Hobart to Melbourne. Not a swept wing in sight. Delicious!

Nice flight in the early jets to Melbourne. I thought I had Snapper working for a camera again, but it errored out on me after the first pic.

Rough night tonight on the server with lots of connection issues. I got booted during the post flight debrief, but others kept getting booted all during the flight and hard a hard time reconnecting. Still, we made it into Adelaide.

The last pic is some of the members of the "Class of 1944".

Nice flight to Ceduna (YCDU). Although my throttle stuck on approach and I had a devil of a time getting slowed down below 190kts. All and all a great flight.

Well the deal fell through on the He 162, but while I was there, this Me 262A came in on a trade and I snatched it up. For a first flight in it, we went to Forrest (YFRT) and it was interesting to say the least. It's a nice hand flyer which is a good thing as I never could get the autopilot to work. I'll be working on that while we're here at Forrest. One of our themes on this journey is straight winged jets of the 40s, but as the Me 262 is a member of the "Class of 1944" it got a pass.

And on into YESP Esperance. A RAAF Starfighter was there to greet us.

We flew on into Perth. Sure is a big airport here. Even a Republic jet would have enough runway.

Fairly nice flight from YESP to YPPH with the exception of a little unstable air. Kind of rock and roll time for us in the F-89. Nearing Perth, and during our descent the weather was clear, and the next thing it started to show a little fog or overcast. Landed in a little light rain, but by the time we got to parking it was raining hard and the vis was 1/8 of a mile. Heck, keep forgetting it's winter down here! Note pictures.

These shots are fun to follow. I'm particularly impressed with your trading planes.

Whose f-89 is that you're flying?

    Hi KellyB,

    The F-89 is from Virtavia/alphasim. It's payware.

Fun filled flight to Perth. As you can see, the weather turned a bit stinko just before landing, which is normal for us! I like this Martin version of the Canbera.
