    For fellow carrier fans.

Been working on some new deck textures for Yanco's Midway and Coral Sea packs.
    Starting with the US carriers.

    You are welcome.
Just have the Yorktown and Lexington to go.
    And the light map textures
And I guess while I am at it might as well do a Saratoga skin pack too.

Nice indeed, I used those ships in FS9 for development of several Naval aircraft, including the Japanese ones as targets for dive bombing.

Can anyone tell me how to add those ships to AI Ships?

    Thanks,
    Ian.

    Hello Grady,

Just noticed this thread after being on a week's holiday.

I always wondered if these ships worked ok in FSX as landable AI ... will try them tonight. Looking forward to the updated textures - your work on the beta USS Leyte really made a difference.

    Thanks for the superb work.

OK - gave the Hornet a go in FSX ....

Looks great, though I see where Grady's textures will improve some of the original pixelation.

Good news - I can arrest no problem.

    Bad news - (flying Korean War jets) ... I guess there's no Acceleration-type catapult capability ... :(

    Anyway - still a keeper ...

Sorry it's taking so long but ran into texture issues on the bow of the LEX. (see below)
The Big E, Hornet and Yorktown are done.
    Almost there.

PS. Pay no attention to the Zero on the deck of the Lex.
