    I'm geting it too. It works fine as flying aircraft but as a ground target CTD if one of the Rufes are damaged or destroyed. I think it was the DP. Try the .DP with in the zip and make sure to remove the old .CDP

    If this fixes the prob for you as well I will update the main download.

    Hi Allen,

    I tested the new dp in a mission with your new Rufe as both air & ground targets. I can report no CTD with either, & breaking parts working fine.

    I only got the crash when it the Rufe was placed as ground target than damaged or destroyed. I placed them as ground targets in MB and do a test fly of the mission. If I damaged or destroyed them in MB test fly than when the mission was over the game would try to load back to MB than crash.

    The other way it would crash is if I aimed for the Main Float when it was used as ground target. This lead me to look at the DP and I found out that the Main Float hitbox didn't have a part linked to it. Once I fixed this ALL of the crashes went away.

    A "hot fix" for this is in this thread and I updated the main download as well.

    Also nice to see a new skin for the Rufe!

    Jagd. You can always get the best picture of CFS2. Your ability playing with MB to get near real scenery is awsome!!

    Thanks Allen for this new bird.

    I'm also working on a A6M2-N Rufe. Most of the work is done unless I do a cart. Also Buddha13s FS9 convert OS2U-3 Kingfisher is nice. I re-uploaded it Warbirds Library after adding a wake effect.

    I hate to show my ignorance, but what is this cart thing? I downloaded Allen's new Rufe, and it looks great, but how do I get rid of the cart? In FF, when I use slew to move it from land to water, it just sinks.

    The Rufe like the WildCatFish has landing gear so in you can take off from any runway in FF. To land on water raise the landing gear like any other aircraft than land on water. In the left lower side of the panel is the CFS1 Fw 190 landing gear lights. Use it to check if you have gear down or up.

    The Rufe was an interesting story in the history of Japanese air development, they thought it would be a wonder plane, being both capable as a seaplane and as a air unit, combining two of the main focuses of miiltary development. It was hoped for during the Aleutians and throughout the Pacific but it turned out to be very vulnerable to the US units used against it. In the hands of a skilled pilot it was effective but many of the replacement men were not very skilled or did not have the time to get that way.

    Nice model that, thanks for it.

    Thanks! That'll fit right in with Talons work in the Aleutian Islands.

    @Worthless
    It works like a amphibian aircraft. If you land with the gear down the game will sink you.

    @CrisGer
    It was fun to do.
