I don't think it's really worth it. There's the odd photo around showing a D with the "Einheitsheck", even the odd A-8/A-9 received it but there's not enough reference around to make for a complete paintscheme. Modelling-wise it's no biggy though since it's as easy as swapping the one for the other.
Had the war progressed longer we had seen more Fw190 of all Marks with this tail section but thankfully that didn't happen.

Will I need to have accelleration installed or am I good to go with SP2?

SP2 is fine. We stay away from the few extra accel features and use simconnect instead to grant widest possible compatibility.
