Forgive me for asking, but why on earth do you want skins for this rather outdated model? Especially given that both John and I have covered the Zuyax Spit MkV for pretty well every use you can think of...

Then, to josepicos - try drawing the panel lines and each colour of the camouflage each onto a separate layer - the results are well worth it, and you'll be able to manage effects that you can't achieve without.

It does have clipped wings though, not a feature we have yet on the Zuyak Mk.V - but I have worked out a way to remedy this (along with a lot of other variants) without a source file or building a new model, if any interested modeler is looking for a fun project...

The Seafire model does though - and is mapped the same way, etc, etc. I did a D-Day MkV skin for it (I think)

    Found it! http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...o&FileID=14027

Your trick sounds interesting - at a guess, using the alpha layer?

Don't take it like that! I started the same way as you have, and went from there. It's actually not that difficult, and it is well worth trying...

Yeah, I have your Seafire skins, but as you guessed, with a little work with the alpha channel and the addition of a few simple pylons that look suspiciously like wingtips (along with other parts) there is quite a bit about all of the Zuyax Spits that can be altered to give us quite a few new variants to play with, e.g. recce versions, short and long tip versions, more Seafires, etc.

All that is required is a hardpoint, a texture that removes parts with the alpha channel, and a pylon model that adds the new parts (and doubles as a traditional weapon carrying pylon as needed).
