    Love it!:

    Hoi Huub!

Thank you so much for this wonderful airplane. I just downloaded the package. Will start flying tomorrow. I'm very much looking forward to the Jachtkruiser experience.

    Thank You Huub

Just installed it and had a very quick flight before heading out the door for work.

It's magnificent, and I'll get lots of enjoyment out of this Fokker.

    Thanks again.

    Pete.

Great airplane. I took it up and ran a few intercepts on the local AI traffic.

Lovely wee plane. Reacts very well. Easy to make a roll (and hear the engines lose power while upside down). At the end of my first flight a perfect three point landing. Great panel. Everything lovelyjubbly!

Downloaded Mercury sound from Britsim.com (author Gary Jones). Very nice combination.

Thanks again, guys, for this wonderful gem.

    Cheers,
    Maarten

Many thanks, Huub! What a beautiful creation.

It goes perfectly with Cees vintage Dutch airfields....not to mention the excellent Koolhoven FK58 and Ito's recent Fokker D.XXIII.

Many thanks to Huub, Michel Migaud, Benoit Dube and Cees for all the hard work on this historic aircraft.

    Thanks Huub, nice plane.

Does anyone know how the rear gun system worked? Obviously some portion of the cone had to open but I don't know where. Also how did they avoid shooting up the supporting framework? Just curious, thanks.

Here's a photo of the turret with the gun as it would have looked when used. Two small doors are opened (On the model they are on the top side) and the gun, which is on a hinge, is extended out. The whole turret rotates to point the down down or up.

Thanks for the info. Seems like it would take too long to align the cone to fire in a different plane. If one got in serious trouble it would be nice to be able to jettison the cone.

Thanks Huub, Cees & the rest who helped out. Hopefully Michel will resurface again sometime.

Who is that dour looking pilot at the controls?

The gunner is Michel and I'm at the controls. It was a small joke by Michel. I actually like it as we are united this way for as long people fly this model.

When I look at my self in the G-1 it seems like I have a horrible disease, haven't slept for two weeks and have a terrible hangover. But as I'm not very talented as virtual pilot, I might have caused this myself.....

    Cheers,
    Huub

Thanks for releasing her, Huub. She's a real beauty and looks great, no matter what airfield you fly from.

Added differential brakes to get the tailwheel unlocked so as to steer her around on the ground:
    differential_braking_scale = 1.0

Thanks for an amazing piece of kit Huub. She is quite amazing. I flew the first of my usual flight test hops establishing the base numbers as I fly it.
I know we talked about the ground and initial takeoff control response somewhere in the other thread, but now that I have had her out I am wondering if someone knows a way to make the aircraft respond to the prop wash hitting the tail surfaces.

With the Tailwheel unlocked the wash should be enough to swing the tail around one direction or the other.

Other than that..like I said she is sweet to fly and land.

    Cheers
    Stefan
