Today, Mrs. Mean, my 6-year old Convict Cichlid, laid eggs while I was at work. Got home and Deb told me that she watched Mrs. Mean laying eggs. I grabbed my Nikon CoolPix L120 and got it ready, approached Mrs. Mean's tank, and boy oh boy did she go into guard mode. I got some wonderful shot of this beautiful little fish. She has been my favorite fish for years now.....hopefully I can enjoy her for a good 4 to 6 more years. The day I find her lifeless body in her tank will be a very crushing day for me.
