    Slightly OT..... BB686'll love this...

with RIAT just over a week away, and reading the latest participation list i noticed a Sea Fury on it... needless to say i'm going to have to photograph the thing to shut BB up for a while (or make him giddy with joy)...

...are any of us Eu/UK members here going to RIAT this year?

here's the list.... get your orders in! what i need to photograph

and not on that list (currently @ 1229GMT) but confirmed as on static is the B-2.... :salute::USA-flag:

Shut me up eh...? No way, mate. And to think that I would have used one of those "hardened shelters" of yours to park me glorious Sea Fury's in. Well now... we'll just see 'bout that.

BTW -- I really like the looks of those hardened aircraft shelters... nice work there. :salute: Looking forward to seeing any pics of the Sea Fury, and other planes from that event. Have fun, mate!

Such a shame Matt, but two major airshows in two weeks are too much.
I had the choice and decided to attend Farnborough the week after. Not only is it a short hop away, but I can stay with relatives for the week.

I hope you have loads of fun, and the weather doesn't play any tricks...

p.s: I would love to see some pics of the German Phantom on static display.
There are still doubts about the Vulcan being fit enough to display, as engine testing is still ongoing.

    Regards, Stuart

yeah i read about '558' having a few leaks, but what can you expect after fitting an engine that hadn't previously run in 31 years....

Thats also a nice suprise, that must have been included only this week, probably the last time you'll see a German F4 at a UK airshow, maybe they'll give it a special paint job
    cheers ian
