Paint fumes agian... New Avelina Paint schemes

    Hey all,

For those that had the Kodiak a long while back and saw Robert Rivera's awesome repaints of the plane in some cool Neon colors, you might recognize the sort of color and stripe themes. I loved them so much and had always wondered, because of their neon 'new' or futuristic look, how they would look on the Avelina. So, yesterday on my day off, I experimented and I really liked the look. I played around alot with the belt line strip and its shape, finally going with straight lines instead of curves as the tail was not high, not enough realestate to work with on it.

    This is the results....

I'll try to get these ready for download as soon as possible...

    Nice!

Too be honest, I bought this thinking it was a 'gimmick' but it turned out my favourite GA plane! Looks good, flies great and has tons of things to play with. It also has the best designed aircraft interior by far.

Bill, Thode look great. Will be great additions on the flight line.

Finally got to pull mine out of the hanger, and take a short flight in P3D yesterday. Impressive, to say the least. And very easy to fly. Would have thought I had been flying it for years, instead of it being my first flight. Thank you for a very enjoyable aircraft.

    Many thanks guys.

I have dreamed of making this for FS for several years now. I think well over three years. I dream about flying this thing in my mind while on road trips in my car. I wanted a plane that was comfortable to fly in, not crushed against your passenger. Relaxing, fun, comfortable, luxurious, roomy, 'normal'....

I wanted a plane that wasnt quirkey and overly difficult on flight requirements, like a BMW 7 series would be like; refined.

That was the target. I see all the flaws in here, things you guys do not see, all the hundred or two hundred features that werent able to be squeezed into the package... :( Things like slow charging, solar charging, running batteries on the onboard mini jet APU, etc, etc... So many things couldnt be done...

    But, there she is.

It would be cool to come up with another version of the sound file. Something even more 'extreme' and wild sounding, like a low rumble grown instead of a medium motor whine.

I must say, Robert BananaBob Rivera was pioneering and incredible in his hobbies. I still get people asking for his paint schemes. They stand out that well.... Amazing and talented man that guy is.

I was thinking of this 2 days ago and was going over them yesterday. I need to figure out how to end the stripes at the wingtips with the winglets. I'll try to get these launched tomorrow. My apologies for not launching them yet.

He does amazing work. I do not know if he did one for the Epic or not. Its been so long ago. I wish he would get back into simming and painting.
