    New Giulli bombers

The Z.1014 and Z.512 are two four engined ill tempered what if bombers armed with five 20 mm MG 151 cannons. I avoided four P-38s easily!

    Cheers

I just saw them in the FS 2004 section.

I hope that they convert well.

    Hi Friends,
WOW, Mr.Giuli is working now on "What if" planes.... BUT he wrote this description :
<C.R.D.A.CantZ1014Bomber&Z512Float Plane. Two models, the second derived from the first,
both entered in the Long Range Bombers project of the Regia Aeronautica;Z1014 first flight on July 19th, 1940,only 20 were built.None of them entered in service because Piaggio P108 was preferred.Z512 never flew for the first time and remained as project.>
I don't know WHERE he found these historical "pearls" !!! The '1014 WAS NEVER BUILT, it was built ONLY a wooden mock-up. I don't like so much these "What if" projects, no doubt they are interesting, but the history is history !!!!

What-ifs have always been a subject of discussion especially as regards potential game changers versus the historical what actually happened.

My favorite what-ifs are the aircraft that made it to prototype stage which allowed enough of a look at both it's potential good points and bad points, along with those designs that extended the evolution envelope of aircraft that made it into production.

On the subject of information there are a number of different sources that can sometimes get the data for different aircraft mixed up.
Always look forward to Mr.Giuli's work.

One historical aircraft missing on the Italian front for CFS2/FS2004 is the Meridionali Ro.37 & Ro.37bis Lince, any chance of one of those from our Italian Flight Sim developers ?
There is the old chunky CFS1 version, but a new model would be great !!!!!!!!!!!
