As a Bay Area kid I was a huge fan of the Airplane in the mid-late sixties. I went to an outdoor concert at Frost Amphitheater ( Stanford) and saw them live along with Country Joe and The Fish. I was, I think, 13 years old at the time. A great band in thier early years.

Used to borrow the folks '67 Chrysler Town & Country Wagon (440 hemi) and drive up Lookout Mtn.
I'd park near Buffalo Bill's grave, lower the rear seats, and put on Jefferson.....
......afterwards we'd sit on the hood naked, with wine and tokes, lookin out over the lights of Denver.....
DAMN FINE MEMORIES....!!!

Wow, Jefferson Airplane. I sure liked their music, think I will go find their greatest hits CD and listen to it.
I listen to them every now and again on my way in to work. Nothings gonna stop us now!
