    kurt n jerry

Jerry Springer could sponsor Kurt Busch? OK, it's only in the proposal stages, but a NASCAR team might soon sport a car bearing a likeness of salacious TV talk-show host Jerry Springer. And fittingly, given recent events, the team involved is Phoenix Racing's #51, which typically is driven by NASCAR bad boy Kurt Busch. Phoenix Racing general manager Steve Barkdoll on Saturday showed FOXSports.com mock-ups of the #51 Chevy sponsored by "The Jerry Springer Show." Before Darlington Raceway weekend, Springer representatives asked Phoenix Racing to submit a proposal for a possible sponsorship, and the team delivered an image of the green and white car bearing Springer's likeness and the show's logo on the hood. The Springer request came after Busch drove the #51 with a "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" paint scheme the previous week in the Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway.(Fox Sports)(6-10-2012)

They better take the deal for the sponsership, if Kurt keeps running his mouth like he did recently, Finch won't get anyone to sponser his team!

I think there's a bit of a paradox going on....

On the one hand, you some fans stating that they want a driver with character, one who's not afraid of what to say things how he/she sees it - rather than the usual "thank all the sponsors" drone.....But then when they get that type of driver that they were screaming for, they then want to roast him/her!

Don't you see the difference between speaking your mind and refusing to be muzzled versus threatening, ranting and cursing like a madman?

I wonder what it was like in the Busch house when they were perhaps 8 & 10? Were they bullies at school constantly picking fights? Just some food for thought.

    Counter-point,
Perhaps Kurt & Kyle were the ones being bullied....(I've seen this happen before where bullied kids become @sshole adults)....Just some food for thought...

And has the media been trying to bait Kurt? (just posing the question)
All we have to do is look at current politics to realize that the media does have biases.....

In any sense, I do agree that threatening a reporter was NOT the right thing to do by Kurt.....

You make some good points. But I still think the brothers were born with some brain damage. Just pull out that album by Bill Cosby from long long ago, it explains everything!
