    Some big casualties in the Tyre Wars, so degrading to have everyone pass you as you skate around in the dying stages on dead rubber!
    Well done to Lewis for calling it right.
    Button's Tyre War apparently lost the minute he turned a wheel...

    What a shame to have tires decide the race.... F1 no longer holds much interest to me. The current rules suck.

    Yes and no...
    It might seem stupid to have tyres determine the outcome.
    But watch the race unfold, and you can see the psychological battle develop.
    Balls-out Racers are going to ruin their tyre resource and die by the end of the race, pussyfooted drivers are not likely to win either.
    Finding the sweet spot is difficult.
    Tyres are just one part of the whole, complex, equation.
    In my view, F1 has never been better... in 7 races there have been 7 winners, and the lead has constantly changed in the drivers rankings.
