Thanks Mike. . .I didn't post this, but I did get it working and I believe it was after I installed one of the tweaks posted here. I did a "what-if" scheme of my own using a "splinter camo" pattern. Probably not correct, but no one else will see it "in-sim" except me, soooooo, lol. It is for FSX so it utilizes the high-res capabilities of FSX (4096x4096) and "dds-dxt5". A shame Ito doesn't allow anything except 256 color for his textures. Keeps a lot of really nice resolution liveries from going public.

That paint looks nice, Falcon... how do you deal with that prop in FSX???? I tried it once- when I saw all the autogen wiped out behind the prop disc I shelved the idea...

Thanks Mike, on the prop problem in FSX. . . .I just ignore it, lol. Nothing can be done about it as it's in the model and Ito isn't inclined to change the way he does that so I just try not to let it bother me too much, lol. I don't spend a lot of time outside the VC so I rarely see the problem all that much anyway.

Also spruced up the VC a bit as well:

hopefully the Dutch paints should be available later today, on my list to do are RAF, RHAF (Royal Hellenic Air Force), Captured (Luftwaffe markings), USAAC, and RCAF, might also do a few civvy schemes....

than the camo and sundry British markings. Air Ministry Number?

Definitely a nice job on the VC, Falcon... which gauges are you using? I was contemplating trying to use gauges from the Koolhoven FK58 sometime... after all, I figured, Dutch gauges for a Dutch aircraft...

This progress got me inspired to do some "scratch" bezels... that can be used for either mlx textures... or 2D panels...
I can make them available in dds, bmp, extended bmp or whatever format to spruce up either 2d or Vc panels...
    just let me know...
by the way... I downloaded the aircraft from flighsim.com but like I stated before... either I am blind or there is no
VC files in it... just the old Ito style rudimentary 2D panel...
