    Shockingly so.

    B/W photos always create a kind of visual time barrier, setting events and people further apart from the safe haven of present cosy reality.

    Many of these pictures could have been taken yesterday!

    I found great sadness viewing the photo of prisoners and their military capturers - the colour working again;

    They're all just fresh kids!
