That was one heck of a negative review. He just keeps going on about the full screen. All he has to do is click in the bottom corner to get out of it.
Some day, I intend to do Win7-64. And now 8 is coming out, lolol... arrgh.
At least it looks like they are copying tracks of Apple. They are the pioneer of the full screen system via iOS/iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad. Those are full screen and Apple has brought that into the big OSX lines. Looks and works good, and we dont mind (Apple users) clicking the corner. You have to click somewhere, right? heh
I wish Windows had its direction back. I thought W7 was good. XP was awesome. Vista...... (cough).
Would be interesting to see how it works. Im going to see if its on YouTube and see if someone has video'd it online.
Thanks for the heads up Mike.

I'm probably getting old, but if there's one lesson I've learned in life, is that history has a habit to repeat itself.
One great example of many more (like the hypes on stuff like Twitter and Facebook), is the quality of Microsoft's major OperatingSystem releases.
Starting at an arbitrary point in time (probably even too long ago for many of you reading this):
- Windows98.
- Windows98-SE
- Windows2000
- WindowsXP
- WindowsVista
- Windows7
Now, guess how I feel, without any predudice of course, about Windows8 ??
Those of you in their late 50ties, early 60ties, reading this will probably understand what I'm talking about (although not necessarily agree)
Regards, Rob
I had to start somewhere, and didn't start with MS-DOS versions
And I ment to say Windows-ME (which was a downright disaster) instead of Windows2000.
Forgot to mention Windows-NT (which was good)..
But re-reading my own post, maybe it wasn't clear what I was trying to say:
MS has a habit of following up good a good OS with a bad one; hence my doubts about Windows8
Personally, I (still) use Windows98-SE, Windows-XP and Windows7-64bit
Heck, from what I gather, MS will be actively supporting XP longer then Vista ...
Regards, Rob
Some of the members need to start looking at the bright side of things. At least MS is willing to let you try it before ya buy it. I tried it but I don't care for the interface. Looks more like a gaming interface. It has a few new features but nothing interest me.If you guys would like for me to stop posting these new updates and releases I will...Mike.

Tried Windows 8 customer preview a few months ago and the other day updated to Windows 8 Release Preview. Have the preview on a second partition trying the new release. So far I don't see much difference from the Windows 8 Pre Candidate release. Liked the new pinball game on the pre candidate release but don't see that game on the preview. Did a search and says the pinball game is 'coming soon'.
Hi Mike,
Sorry, should you feel any negativity directed towards you. That wasn't the intention.
As far as I'm concerned, please keep posting this kinds of news...
But I assume you allow us our opinion on the contents; in this case MS OS's ..
Based on history ......
Best regards, Rob
Maybe it's my age and experience influencing me, but I've noticed that the "easier" MS has tried to make their OS to use, the more difficult it is for me to actually do what I want to do...
Just as a single exampe, it simply annoys me to no end that every time I launch Windows Explorer, it insists on defauting to my "User's" folder (which frankly I seldom use at all if I can avoid it), and then clutters up the left navigation panel by including folders I don't have access to anyway (such as the "real" ..\My Documents folder!)![]()
