Yep it is pretty good for my first model but I owe it all to Milton for putting up with me this whole time haha.
Messing around with fixing bugs in the model and texturing. (Smokey has a 4Y also haha)

Gosh! At a first glance I thought it was a photo of the real one! Awesome!
Cheers,

Following this inspired project, I keep coming accross the word fun.
Well, I think thats probably the big secret to all admirable enterprises such as this.
And one thing is for sure Gentlemen: I'm absolutely itching to have fun working on a suitable voice for this awesome babe!![]()

Thanks! Nigel, hopefully I can't get some sound material off to you in the next couple days. Can't wait to hear your work!
Pleasure Big TG!
In any case, this all sounds like too much fun to be missed!![]()

I have a kind of esoteric question re: engines on these aircraft - in at least one aircraft (123) I'm seeing what I'll call "pimples" on the outside of the cowl around the engine. I've only previously seen those kind of protrusions on a B-25's engine cowl. Are those engines on the Privateer R-2600s? I realize many of these rebuilt heavy WWII aircraft had engine changes due to their anticipated new roles - but the mounts were originally intended for something like an R-1830, I think. What kind of adaptation(s) did they have to do to the firewall and engine mounts to hang this new iron on the front end?
4 x Wright R-2600! That's a major symphony orchestra tuning up there!
Please forgive the saliva drops Gentlemen.![]()

OMG! That's the sound of two Mitchells in perfect formation. Nigel, I'm afraid you'll have to come over to the Netherlands and record the awesome sound of the B-25N of the Duke of Brabant Air Force.
Cheers,
Maarten

Haha yeah this baby doesn't purr she ROARS! I always thought about that on my flights haha "this is like sitting in between two Mitchell's" let me say you better have some hearing protection!
Four of any kind of radials certainly perks my ears up.
I have been wanting to do a 4-engine heavy like this for some time. I appreciate TG's efforts on this one and allowing me to be a small part of it.
He has a deadline on this one so he must get the basic aircraft out, and the rest (of the goodies) comes later, I suspect.
Nigel, sounds would be helpful sooner rather than later. IMO, it has priority over the Avia 57, Dash 7, and Harpoon work.
