Sim Skunk Works F-104 "G"....Some WIP pictures

Hi all, here are some WIP pictures of the "MAP" version of our F-104 G,under developing. As you can see,all the pics are about the first G version, with metal finish. Next set of pictures will be about "CONSORTIUM" version, used and built under license by many air forces around the Europe. Our package will have both versions included and there will be some specific ordnance settings, like catamaran AIM-9 lauchers,Orpheus recce pod (for RF-104 G) Kormoran missiles (for MFG aircrafts) and other interesting stuff..
    Stay tuned!

Wow ! Great, really looking forward to that model. I could comment on the RNoAF 331 skv aircraft markings but I won't ;-)
    Keep up the great work.

You need to study the proportions of the roundel, first and foremost. The blue outer ring is too thin. Also study the shape of the fin flash (Bodų flash). This is one of the 3 aircraft assembled by Canadair and delivered in Grey FS16473 so if you want metal, you should not go for either FN-Y/G or L, all of these were grey. Sorry I'm so short here but I am recovering from post surgery due to cancer and might be non operational for quite some time.

Dave, not for now. We have other two project waiting on the blueprints: MRCA Tornado and HH3F chopper. There are also some other projects, like F-84F ,wearing the "Getti Tonanti" ("Thunderjets") italian display team, waiting together with a nice jet,the T-33,for training purposes.
But everything is possible, all the SSW devel team is slightly mad,so stay tuned.

F-84F or the straight G would be superb, the RF-84F as well ;-)

I am very excited about your F-104G project !
It is now on the top 3 of my "must buy" listing !

Do you plan a Canadian CF-104 version with the Vicon recce Pod ?

Here is below an illustration over Baden Baden RCAF German base taken by my father ( ! ) during
the 1962-1967 era before the application new style 1968 roundel.

In 1967, I was 12 years old and living at Baden Baden.

Thust me I will. I'm one of the lucky ones that start off with surgery and may leave treatment without chemo or anything. Right now it's just post surgery pain but all the great stuff on here and elsewhere keeps me rather 'up'. Thanks!
