Hey guys,
Hot on the heels of 'Denver Belle', here is Lucky Lady VII registered D-FPSI, based at Freiburg, Germany. Since I had a 364th FG template going from 'Denver Belle', I went ahead and did Lucky Lady VII. Some minor color and reflection variations from Denver Belle.
I know it isn't an exact repaint, but this is what I was shooting for.
I didn't add the pilot or crew chief's name....figured that was for the rest of us in the virtual world of FS![]()

Hey guys...another one for you all
Here is a good one for 'P-51ing' around PNW. With the 364th FG nose art template still going, I painted up N51DH, currently based at the Evergreen Aviation & Space museum, McMinville (KMMV), OR. This particular P-51 has had a few 364th FG variations on it over the years. I chose to have this repaint represent the P-51 in an Oregon ANG livery seen here.
Again it isn't 100% exact, I was lucky someone took a reasonably good picture of the bird logo...had to do some fudging to have the 'oregon' text flip on the opposite sideFor ducks, I lightented the metal this time and polished the alphas a bit. Changed the 'blue' shade on the stripes a little too.

*note also updated spec file for Lucky Lady VII. Submitted the update to Avsim. The SOH download will have the current update prior to posting.

While in this painting frenzy, I decided to change pace and try somthing a little different. Someone painted the P-51 in Luftwaffe colors, so I decided to paint the P-51 in Imperial Japanese Army colors...based on this KI-61 scheme. I did some 'what if' IJ schemes for the CH FW-190 a while back.
I called it 'KI-51'. Here is the result.
