    Videocard 1GB or 2GB ?

    Hi

I have the option to deside on two videocard " MSI GTX560Ti 1GB Twin Frozr II or MSI GTX560Ti 2GB Twin Frozr II"

My native resolution on the monitor is 1920x1080 60Hz widescreen 16:9.

    Is 1GB ok, or I´m go for 2GB ?

I´m read somwere that cliff of dover is a memory hog regards the videocard.

    Best Regard

Are you using a 32 bit operating system or a 64 bit operating system?

With a 64 bit OS, I'd opt for the 2GB card.

A 32 bit OS is limited to recognizing 4GB of total memory, that includes CPU cache, system RAM, and video RAM. A 2GB video card with a 32 bit OS means your system will actually see a little less than 2GB of system RAM.

Then I would opt for a 2 GB card. 2GB of video RAM might be overkill today, but what about tomorrow?
