Very nice plane, thanks for the conversion, and thanks to the original author.
With this version, I saw four small problems though:
    - the canopy glass is invisible.
    - at idle (RPM 75%, throttle minimum) the plane will move forward. Stopping on water is impossible without turning the engine off.
    - the bottom switches of the front panel, the battery and the fuel pump, are not clickable
    - the rudder is super effective.

For all the rest, it's a great plane and a fantastic 3D model !

Craig has packaged the new FSX models with the same files of the original Swingman release, so it can definitely use the FDE updates that were made for it when it was originally released for FS9 (and originally ported into FSX).

It's so nice to see this aircraft in FSX native format! Thanks again Craig and Swingman!

This is my favorite of the variants, and is a copy of the example owned and flown by Chuck Greenhill (owner of a couple of P-51D's and a couple of Sea Furies as well).

A few photos I took last summer of Chuck's J2F-4, which was at Pearl Harbor at the time of the December 7, 1941 attack. It's quite amazing the details of this restoration, and what it took to get it flying again.

Wasn't there an airfile and cfg update for the previous portover that fixed the above mentioned issues?

Breathtaking shots. I'll have to get this old bird out of the hanger.

And yes there were some fixes to how the aircraft sat in the water, some enhanced engine textures if I recall...

    Nice shots guys !

I've now updated the files with glass reflection, switches working properly and some missing textures.

    Use the same download links.
