maybe someone will do a briefing time paint job. then we'd finally have one native to fsx.
    now that would be nice.

It's not the same model type. A lot of differences between the B-25B/C/D's and the B-25J (of which most of those flying today are) - not to mention how much differences there are just within B-25B/C/D production alone. It would be like putting a P-40E or P-40N paint scheme on a P-40B/C, to try and portray a B-25J just through adding a paint scheme to a B-25B/C/D model, etc.

i never was much good at knowing that stuff. heck, if it wasn't for garanimals, my clothes would have never matched.

    :d

Its got to be quite a challenge to pick a variant of the B-25 like the B-25B, C, or D, to research and try to model accurately, as 90% or more of the surviving B-25 population are of the B-25J or TB-25N type, and separating those earlier variants even more, from the B-25J types, are the B-25G and H models, which were yet another developmental stepping stone to get from the B-25D to the B-25J. You have to be very, very careful that you aren't adding details from one variant, that weren't present on the variant you are making.

As long as there is an RAAF paint or a paint kit so I can do some Aussie paints I will be happy.

That B-25 is looking great. If all I had in FS was a B-25 and a DC-3 I'd be content. Well, and a P-38. Ok, and an A-7. But that's all I need. And this lamp... Can't wait for the release of this beautiful ship.

I am very pleased to see this effort from Vertigo Studios. One of the most versatile platforms used in WWII, and no native FSX model...sadly lacking....(although I do appreciate the efforts from many modelers to adapt their excellent FS9 versions....)

I personally will be thrilled with any variant, although I agree that it's nigh impossible to please everyone, given the number an differing types that made it to the field, or were modified in the field. Check Big Lots Ad and Bilo Ad.

And yes, I would love to see some Aussie paints as well!
