Is this available to those of us who bought it at Flightsim.com?

MDIvey, that appears to be the case so far. The announcement came to me in an email.

I checked the Iris forum and found that you obtain the update from the store you purchased the IRIS F-15E from. It appears you have to download the complete aircraft. That at the Flightsimstore is 556MB.

I bought the Milviz model, and have been holding off on the IRIS because I heard there was a problem with the UFC coding: it would lock-up on you if you entered data in the wrong sequence, and you could not clear it and start over. I can be a bit clumsy when flying an instrument approach, talking to online ATC, and leading a formation flight in bad weather --

Does anyone know if the patch fixed the problem with the UFC?

I would appreciate it if people who had the aircraft could check on that for me, and then I think I would buy it.

    Best,

    Chris

I have the "upgrade" and the UFC problems have been a persistent accompaniment to what is otherwise a really nice product. This thread showed up in a search I just did about this issue...

    Cheers
