"...getting dressed for breakfast?" I'd never get UNdressed in such a house, much less try to use the toilet!![]()

here in toronto, there could never be a house like that. a couple years ago, a woman was cutting through a man's yard on the way to somewhere else. she looked in the window and saw him walking through his house naked. he was fined for public indecency. even though he was at home, and someone peeped into his window. how's that for a lack of sense?![]()
I guess different cities have different definitions of "public". Years ago I had a neighbor (a 'mature' gentleman, darn it) who liked to sunbathe nude in his fenced backyard. The woman who lived on the other side of him complained to the police because her young son could see him and it creeped her out. The police told her that they couldn't stop him because he was not, in their opinion, in "public".
That happened in Midlothian, Virginia. The woman and her young daughter were walking through his yard, he was in his kitchen getting his morning coffee and was nude. Yep, he was in trouble because someone looked in his windows. Some neighborhoods around here have walking trails and paths that pass way too close to people's houses and there is little privacy.
Oh, and those who live in glass houses should:
a) not throw stones.
b) wear clothes.

Justin Wilson used to tell the story of a woman that called the police about her neighbor being indecent and walking
around his house. The police went into her room where she said she saw the man from her window. Sure enough,
they could see right into the man's house, but the view only allowed his chest and above to be seen.
When they pointed it out to the woman, she said, "No, no, you have to stand on this stool and look!"
Now this was about 1963 and this was considered risque for the time!
