Is there a limit on how many $panels in a model or cfg file? I have a $panel for each of 7 gauges and need to ad one more but when I have it all in place it will not show as transparent in the sim.
Any suggestions?
Chris

Not sure of a theoretical limit but more than 3 for FS9 will call a lot of jerkiness in gauge movement and affect FPS.
The point is why do you need more than one.
You can have many planars "attached" to each other (making one) regardless of where they are and map all the gauges on one $panel bmp, and therefore one vcockpit section.
Think of how you would map a fuselage with four sides on one bmp. Same with the vc panel.
