    Everyone needs to fly in a Stearman at least once in there life. I always thought that it would be a bit of a "violent" ride with it being an open cockpit, but found it was exactly the opposite... very calm and what a view!!!!

    i totally agree with you. and in that line of thinking, if any of you out there actually has a stearman, come on up here to sunny canadia nd give me a ride!

    Does a Tiger Moth count? Same experience in a Tiger Moth ..thought it was going to be rough flight (was very windy) but smooth as.

    Our local offers Stearman flights with Pete Ham (who hangs around here)....so one day...
