Wasnt orginally interested in this but the price is right and the FDE is done by Bernt Stolle which has raised my interest. I will wait and see what the feedback is.
i don't fly the default one, so i want to ask -
what is it about this one that you expect to get, that isn't in the default one? i noticed that carenado has a few plANES that can be found in the default line up. they seemed to be pretty popular.
The screenshots dont do this justice - i dont have a lot of realworld exprience of aerobatics but this is lots fo fun and a great way to travel vfr with superb views. VC detail is stunning.
Very tempted. I had a 1/5 scale Byrons R/C model that was a kick.
And the repaint possibilities, oh man. Damn.
What the hell. Downloading
Hmm, free liveries. I'll pass.
My first attempt. http://www.flickr.com/photos/planeph...n/photostream/
The difference is some of them actually look like airplanes (Carenado) and not toys (MS- Although some of their classics from FS9 aren't bad). It's really the quality of the modeling and the textures.
I'll have to think about getting this as well, just knowing the FDE was done by Bernt Stolle as well. Maybe he'll update the Sukhoi? I can't even slow that thing down side-slipping and I just don't have the time to mess with FDE's at this point.
This great product deserves to be a sticky for a while
I love the attention to detail on this - vibrating exhaust and also aerial.
nice addon

GREETINGS THUNDERBOLT
Now if someone would just make a Nanchang CJ-6 with that sound set.........OMG
Ok....just bought the 300 and I noticed something right away about this plane that I don't think I've ver noticed on a another plane.....or is it me. The reflections on the fuselage are the actualy sky and ground textures in the sim and it doesn't appear to be using the normal reflection map. am I nuts or is this something new?
