Bill, that is the Raiden. I can be found at Flightsim.com. Just do a search for Raiden. There are also several packages of textures for this bird. She is fun to fly at Chi-Chi Jima.

I checked the updated version which is ready to download and it seems clean to me now.

@ richoday: George is standing on the Sub, they plucked him already out of the sea :-) And no, that's not Kennedy, that was in the Blacket Straights near Kolombangara / Solomons !

    Cheers,
    Mark

I should of said that I was just kidding about Kennedy.

Whew, Mark just sent an email saying all was looking good now. I want to say one more time. Roger Wilco66 is a great partner. I encourage anyone who is trying to learn what is a very complicated endeavor to jump in there and work together. Mark taught me a multitude of things. To just let you know there are approximately 400 objects placed individually in this scenery. That doesn't count the flak and all the other effects which could easily make the count over 1000. This was indeed my largest endeavor. Thanks for everyone's patience and understanding.

As Mark said the final update for Chi-Chi Jima here at SOH is completely clean and is the file I intended to install in the first place. I can rest easy for the rest of the day. The file over at Flightsim.com is also the one I intended to release.

Hmm, I don't have the nice shore lines. I did update the scenery.cfg with the data from the pdf file. This is what makes the shore lines, no? I may still have the old version, even though I downloaded it a second time, but maybe too soon. I'll try again later.

Paul, it's the terrain.cfg you need to mod!

    Finally found an appropriate seabase...

    Merci beaucoup Mark and Tom,

Your work is gorgeous and your efforts appreciated...

I've now found a seabase (Ha-Ha Shima) for my what if concoction of a Hs-123 fitted with Mitsubishi floats...

Made a flypast to compliment and thank you more appropriately.

    Cheers,

    Fleurdelys

Fleurdelys, Cool screen shots and love the aircraft. Seeing all the flights with their associated pictures is really fun for me. When you make scenery like this you think you have seen about all there is to see. That could not be further from the truth. You guys are showing views I have not seen. What fun.

I recently downloaded the freeware LHA-5 Tarawa Landing Ship with the AAV-7 Amtrak. (Link HERE) The Amtrak has a clear view that allows you to drive all the roads and explore the land. Gives some really interesting screen shots. Like this one! Torishima supply base unloading Ohkas.

Are there any Japan WW2 see planes for fsx? I am sure there are, I am just not getting the results form my searches. Sorry to ask a dump question.

  13. #43
Spelling error, sea planes. Sorry about that. I did notice the one above but have not found it as of yet.

Check for Hagochu's fighter packages, there are a few real nice japanese planes and also sea planes in them.
They are ported from FS9 / CFS 2, the VCs are a bit outdated, but the exterior is quite good on most of them.
