I checked everything I could find at Avsim, as recommended - it's quite a haul. Ysterplat (sp) airfield's file is dead last on the Avsim list, but it's there nonetheless.

Yes, Andy, I think Thornhill AB is something like that. Poor old Rhodesia did go through a fair few name changes eh?

Thanks Steve!
I downloaded everything about S. Africa/Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) I could find on Avsim and FSim. Want to give the SAAF and RRhAF Canberras a good home. I noted there were some sceneries that required an Aeroworx installer be used to put them into the sim. Others are added to the scenery in the usual way. There were also some terrain meshes I downloaded. A couple of questions:
1) Do we really need to use the Aeroworx installer to put this scenery in? I've noted some other Aeroworx scenery I downloaded did not require any installer and goes in in the normal manner.
2) Do the updates to the stock FS9 scenery work all right as far as depicting S. Africa's airports?
I'm going to install the road nets, city textures, VFR features, water features, and other environmental updates as well.
Not my bag as they say I am afraid - perhaps Andy can help on this one?

I installed the scenery quite some time back, so can't remember for sure; I rarely (if ever) let an installer put something straight into my FS install anyway, I'll 'install' to a temp directory and copy over as necessary. Does that help?
Andy
It sure does, because that's precisely the way I do it as well - I don't want something I can't see monkeying around with the innards of my sim. I ALWAYS point an autoinstaller into a temp working folder that receives all the files and lets me pick and choose.
I think what I'll do is manually install the scenery that doesn't call for the dedicated Aeroworx installer first, examine it with a few flights, then make further decisions based on what I see.
