    Upgrade my computer

    Hi

Well - I deside to opt for the following components in my upgrade.

    MB: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 v.1.3 Socket 1155

    CPU: Intel i7 2600K 3,4GB

CPU cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO

    Memory: Corsair 8GB 9-10-9-27 1866MHz Vengeance

Corsair SSD 120GB for my OP

    OP: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    -----------------------------------

Items I kip from my current rig:

Chassi: CoolerMaster Centurion 5. Swap the original fan to 2x Noctua 80mm PWM intake front and sidepanel and Noctua 120mm PWM exhaust on the back

GPU: Leadtek Winfast 8800GTX for the time being

    PSU: Corsair HX 750W modular

    HD SATA 350GB for Games

Hope it can runn FSX with disent framrate. I´m not going to overclock anything.

    Best Regard

You could have saved a few $ by going for the 2500k...or even the 2500 if you definitely do not want to overclock. The k series chips are designed from the outset with overclocking in mind.
The 2600k will easily and safely hit ~4.5GHZ with a good cooler.

    upgrade my computer

    Hi Kilo Delta !

    Thanks for the feedback.

Well - I bought the i7 2600K and the MB at a discount, cheaper than the 2600.

Next year I´m planed to bay a new chassi with better cooling and then I can trying to overclock the cpu.

My current chassi I can mount only a 80mm fan up front and a 120mm exhaust in the back "CoolerMaster Centurion 5".

My firt coal is to run the FSX with good peformance and the components to last longer than a few years.

You may not need to change the chassis. Have a look at the Corsair Hydro series coolers...in particular the H70/H80 http://www.corsair.com/cpu-cooling-k...pu-cooler.html
