Another new racing game, it will be released this week:

If this is anything like the good old NFS: Porsche Unleashed it should be fun! (Will be waiting on a few reviews though!)

"Rally!" Mmmm I don't think so...
Actually Wing_Z, and I don't expect these will be included, Ferrari and Lancia were behind the mind blowing Lancia Stratos, a genuine Rally Supercar.
Quite a number of privateer Ferrari entries made it into the WRC, mostly the plastic 308 series to be sure, but they were pretty impressive on tarmac events like the Tour de Corse.
Even more unlikely content would be the 250GT entries way back in the 1950s and 60s when the Tour de France was the Blue Ribbon tarmac rally.
That said, I might be tempted to purchase this for the simple pleasure of driving the 250TR 'Pontoon Fender' .................................................. ..........
One never can be sure from a promo but I'm intrigued to see what looks like the original 1946 Ferrari 125S, now that and the Testa Rossa, along with the apparent inclusion of front engined F1 cars would do it for me.
I'm still finding pCARS better and better with each weekly build however.

Ferry I don't see a "Rally" car in that list.
But a 330 P4... I might be tempted to buy a new computer to pootle around in such a beast.
Wombat, you know as well as I do: the Stratos was a FIAT, and the motor came from a Dino which you also know, was not a Ferrari!![]()
I know mate, I know.
Just wishful thinking on my part.
Funny thing the 'Dino' label.
I have no trouble at all with the original 246 Dino, it was a Ferrari, and a lovely little car.
One of my youngest brother's Motocross gang [Trevor Flood] owned a dark blue one, and I had a decent long run in it.
Everything about it was 'Ferrari', unlike the abomination that FIAT pushed into production, the mediocre Dino 308GT4.
My former partner [Bloody Muppet!] in Southern Cross Miniatures purchased one, in pale metallic blue with a bone interior to add insult to injury!
It screamed 'Hairdresser Car' but Roi remains convinced he owns a 'Ferrari', despite all the evidence to the contrary.
The car sold so badly in the USA that FIAT had to ship a boatload of 'Ferrari' badges over to clear the stock backlog and the Australian Ferrari Owners Club regard it with the same enthusiasm as the Porsche Owners Club have for the very mediocre 'Porsche' 924, an entry level car at best.
As a famous man once said, 'You can paint a turd gold but it remains a turd'.

There was one rally Ferrari once, a 308GTB. But I guess in this game they probably mean 'open road racing' with 'rally'.
The 308 was only entered by privateers with dealer support where possible.
One sponsored by Pioneer was quite prominent at the time.
Of course, when one looks at them objectively, entering a Ferrari 308GTB in a rally was about as sensible as running a couple of BMW M1 coupes in the TdC.
Then again, they'd sound brilliant.

Strangely I found three different release dates already!
First source said 'this week' but two different retailers give May 4th and June 15th as release dates...
It is a Slightly Mad Studios game apparently, the creators of NFS Shift 1&2 and Project C.A.R.S.
It has been mentioned on the pCARS forums when questions came up re Ferrari and licensing, which lead to some really interesting facts about who owns what content in a racing/car sim.
To be honest, I'll buy this one for no other reason than the content, the 250GT SWB 'Spyder California' is a car that I've lusted after for decades!!
Odd that one, a 'GT' but a 'Convertible' .....???

The 250GT SWB Berlinetta would have been a better choice: http://ferrari.vintage.free.fr/Image...ta_Comp-61.jpg
One of my personal favourites!
The 'Breadvan' would have been fun, but since it's not a real Ferrari..![]()
