    Convert GMAX source file into an FSDS source file

    Is this at all possible?
    If so how can I go about doing it?
    I know FSDS pretty well but I am a zero on GMAX.

    from what I remember it's possible using DXF converter, but you loose texture mapping and all animations, and all LOD models end up as one. I may be remembering wrong or maybe new ways have come out of the woodwork over time.

    If you do find a way, I'd be interested in knowing too.

    Model Converter X (MCX) by Arno at FSDeveloper should be able to do this.

    There is an FSDS to Gmax convertor here, may work both ways

    MCX only works the other way around. ie. From FSDS to 3DS/Gmax. Unfortunately.
