Since I rarely use this computer anymore, my son uses it for general use and flightsimming since I got him into it. I was totally unaware of the fact that when he had opened the SOH page there was a redirect once every couple of few page visits. Apparently some of those redirects contained malicious code/different malware which entered into this system but this problem is going on with many otherwise legit sites. It's been cleaned out without damage and now I'm imposing new browsing & use rules on his use of the system.

I haven't been geting redirected when logging on here. Is there something else going on that this procedure prevents, and, what is the risk if I don't do the procedure?
