    Anybody working on some repaints for this beauty ?

    I must admit I've never seen a new release appear to lose interest on this forum so fast in all my life ??

    I don't remember ever seeing any paints on any of the big boards yet.
    Usually paints are every where after a product release.

    Oh its getting plenty of attention at their "unofficial" site. I quit going there a long time ago because of some wierd cookie issue that had me dropping alot of my antivirus protection just to post there.

    I gotta say its more like a console gaming forum with some pretty nasty post. Its about 50/50 with those who understand this is not a cure for cancer and Carenado will correct these issues. The other are tired of paying more and more for prematurely release products. There are already at least a dozen tweeks and fixes to some issues.
    The Kingair really is not that bad at all. I am just still getting hit hard simular to the F-15 with full avionics/HUD and more detailing. 15-20 with some stutters around airports.
    Again I think the pricing and the loooooooong wait for a Kingair has everyone feeling let down.

    I Just visited the Avsim Unofficial Carenado site and I'd rather be forced to listen to 1000 hours of "Gardeners Question Time". At least the conversations would be civil, if not my cup of tea.

    This is now one of my favorites twins. Right up there with the DA Cheyenne.

    I fly vampire hours and if I can get all the instrument/gauge lights lit and the panel lights dimmed I will be content.

    ...That would be nice...especially considering there are myriad switches on the upper panel that look like they do exactly that, but have no functionality....

    From the Unofficial forums.

    If you want to disable the ambient lighting // out the first light entry in aircraft.cfg.. Should look like this.

    [LIGHTS]
    //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
    //light.0 = 4, 0.65, 0.00, 1.00, fx_vclightcarcn
    light.1 = 4, 1.90, 0.00, -0.50, fx_vclightcarcn0
    light.2 = 10, 1.20, 0.00, 2.90, fx_vclightcarcnb
    light.3 = 10, -4.80, 0.00, 4.00, fx_vclightcarcn2
    light.4 = 10, -9.50, 0.00, 3.85, fx_vclightcarcn2

    Not a fix from from the pics it removes the ambient lighting that lights up the cockpit area. But still the panel lighting is way to strong but its a start.
