JustFlight Lightning F6 on Finals

One of the Perks of working as a model maker/developer for JustTrains and being a Flying SIM fan is that i get to test some of their upcoming products. There are non I've enjoyed Beta testing more than the Lightning F6... an Aircraft I have a special affection for as I used to see them overhead most days in the 70s and early 80s as they flew over my house... and in the Summers I used to occasonally cycle up to RAF Binbrook with some friends to watch them. Here is a view I used to enjoy seeing... its was alway accompanied by noise so loud you could feel it through yourRib Cage rather than hear it

Thanks for sharing. One that will be a nice addon for FSX (still use the AS packages in FS9....)

In answer to the question raised by Igorski.... I'm almost 100% certain its FSX native but I will check into it and report back. I just dont have shadows (self shadow and ground shadows) switched on as a rule as my machine slows down too much for my likeing if they are on. You'll notice they are there in the screenies posted by RAS_JF though.

Zsolt... cant tell you when release will be as I'm not privvy to that information... all I will say is I'm not expecting it to be too long now (hence the thread name) as I know that things are at an advanced stage. I'm hoping that you and the other repainters will have a field day with this one. The pack has a generous selection of models but there is loads of scope for additional ones here. I wish I had time to do some myself.

Just had it confirmed by Just Flight that model is fully FSX Native.

Here's hoping they do the hotrod F.2A and F.3 models. A T.4 or 5 wouldnt be too bad either! Either way consider my money already taken.

Don't have an exact date yet but we are just finishing up a few odds and ends before sending it off for mastering by the end of this week.
It usually take a couple of weeks to get it back from the replicators which would put it roughly around the last week in April.
That's if everything goes to plan this week of course. Once we know a firm date (which should be sometime next week) we will post it up.
